Hi, fellow AmpliFire users !
So here it is, my latest batch of presets, including some made with the upcoming MK IV amp model (Tom sent me a beta version). I recorded that video a few days ago and made some more presets since...
Now, an important note : as you all know, we can’t share presets using commercial IRs. I have a few presets using commercial IRs by Ownhammer, so I won’t share those. However, most of my presets uses custom hybrid IRs which I made using various methods - mixing free IRs (like the famous ASEM which is the basis of my high gain cabs), tonematching guitar stems (and even YouTube videos of guitar amps !), tonematching of presets from other guitar processors with Ozone, and even of other guitars. For example, I borrowed a Strat, captured its position 4 “quack” sound and used it as a source, my Ibanez position 4 sound as a destination, and applied the resulting curve (with Ozone) to a custom “Fender” cab – so now my Ibanez, with that cab, sounds more like a Strat. It may sounds weird, but it works :)
Note that these cabs and the presets using them are NOT exact tonematches of the presets from the other modelers (and by choice, none of my original presets which are from the Axe-Fx uses FAS stock or cab packs – they use ASEM too, or other free cabs) : they are more “in the ballpark” but not identical cabs/presets, using some EQ’ing to suit the AmpliFire amp models, according to my taste. And even after the tonematching process, I tweaked the AmpliFire presets again.
As a result, these custom cabs are not exact representations of existing cabs, like those sold by Ownhammer, or those shared by Jay Mitchell. But what matters to me is that they sound how I like to complement the AmpliFire amp models, often with fatter low mids, for example. Of course you can always import the Ownhammer you bought to use them with my presets !

For years, I shared Axe-Fx, and recently AmpliFire, presets for free, with a (not mandatory) donation system. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I can't do that anymore – either I recover some money from my gear investments (not mentioning the countless hours of preset programming!), or I sell the gear itself. So I chose to sell these presets – around 130 today, yes, that's more that the AmpliFire can store ! – for 20 $, via Paypal. Each buyer will receive a private Dropbox link where I will upload new presets regularly (like when new amp models are available etc. - I'll probably update the MK IV presets when the final version is publicly available ; also, please note that the MK IV presets won't work until the firmware with that amp model is released). So 20 $ will give you access to my current presets, but also all those I'll make in the future !
Please note that I don't have a proper website with an automated system to sell the presets, so anyone interested should send me a mail on thibderob@yahoo.frand I'll send the dropbox link as soon as possible (I'm on GMT+4 so I may be sleeping when users from the USA are active), or just make the Paypal payment with a message specifying on which email I should send the Dropbox link. Thanks for supporting my work ! And be kind, if you buy those presets, don't share them with anyone ;)
