Recently, I got new information about CM11 Kitkat 4.4.4 from XDA website. They released an unoffical ROM for S7562 a few month ago. However, There are some bugs found and used to fix one by one. I was waiting and testing every update of this ROM since the first release, RC1. And now, RC3 is released and bugs was fixed. I think that is a good time to write a post about it.
Why this ROM? Because you could upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.4 and get Khmer fonts full rendering.You don't have to worry about battery life because deep sleep was fixed.You could enjoy with a fastest ROM (Facebook, Line, Instagram or any social application run faster and smoothly) and dual sim support.You could use Playstore and download some comfortable theme for CM11 and more feature of Kitkat 4.4.4.
How to install this ROM?
- Download: Odin CWM Modem_S7562XXLJ3.zip cm-11-20150323-UNOFFICIAL-kylessopen-RC3.zip
- Extract odin.zip and run odin3 then put CWM recovery.tar in PDA.
- Shutdown and put the device into download mode. (Volume down+Home+Power button, and then click on Volume up).
- Click 'Start' button on odin and wait until finished.
- After process completed, device will restart. Copy Modem_S7562XXLJ3.zip and cm-11-20150323-UNOFFICIAL-kylessopen-RC3.zip to external or internal memory then shutdown phone again.
- Go to CWM recovery by pressing Volume up+Volume Down+Home+Power Button simultaneously.
- Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition.
- Select install zip from sd card and then choose Modem_S7562XXLJ3.zip and cm-11-20150323-UNOFFICIAL-kylessopen-RC3.zip to install one by one.
- Restart your phone and enjoy! :)
